Gather & Gather, Mitie’s specialist catering business, has today opened a new in-store cafe for Primark at the intu Braehead shopping complex in Glasgow – the store’s first cafe.
The Primarket Café features a wide-ranging menu, high quality service and competitive pricing, offering customers a break from their retail therapy.
As well as a range of speciality coffees, frappes, iced teas and soft drinks, the café will offer a variety of hot and cold snacks – from pitta pizzas, toasties and breakfast baps, through to waffles, vegan traybakes, gluten free brownies and rainbow cake. With more than 70 items available on the menu, catering to a range of dietary requirements, there truly will be something for everyone.
Sustainability is also at the core of the new Primarket Café, with no plastic straws and only compostable coffee cups in use at the site. Similarly, customers will be enjoying Gather & Gather’s own specialty blend of coffee, Camino, which uses only sustainably sourced beans.
This is the second café that Gather & Gather has opened in a Primark store, following the launch of the Central Perk Café at Primark Manchester in June. This builds on the long-standing relationship between the companies, with Gather & Gather having managed catering at Primark’s offices in Reading and Dublin for the past four years.
Allister Richards, Managing Director, Gather & Gather, said, “Following the recent launch of the Central Perk Café at Primark Manchester, it’s a pleasure to once again be collaborating on a new café for Primark customers to enjoy. We’re proud that Primark share our passion for sustainability and we look forward to expanding our partnership.”
