Lindley Venue catering, the sports catering division of the Lindley Group, has signed a new contract with Bradford City FC which will run for the next five years.
Worth £1.4m, the deal sees Lindley managing all of the public matchday catering at Bradford’s 25,136 capacity Coral Windows Stadium. The caterer, which begun the deal earlier this month ahead of the new season, launched a number of its branded retail concepts at the ground, including Frank’s Original New York Streetdogs, The Pie Factory and Flaming Good Burger.
David Baldwin, director of operations at Bradford City FC, described the club’s promotion as an ideal opportunity to review its catering services.
“We believe Lindley Venue Catering is best placed to help us to improve and develop the food offer for our fans and away visitors on matchdays. They have a strong infrastructure and resource pool in Yorkshire and being established in the region has given them a good feel for local preferences and tastes.”
Bradford were recently promoted to League One following a 3-0 victory against Northampton Town in the League Two play-offs. They won their first game this season 4-0 against Carlisle.
Lindley Venue Catering’s other stadium concession contracts in the county include Rotherham FC, Doncaster Rovers FC, Sheffield Wednesday FC and John Smith’s Stadium, home to both Huddersfield Town FC and rugby league club Huddersfield Giants.
