Savills, on behalf of private clients, has completed the sale of Boskerris Hotel in Carbis Bay, St Ives, at a price in excess of the guide price. Carbis Bay will host the G7 Summit in June 2021.

The multi award-winning, boutique coastal hotel, rated number 1 in the area on TripAdvisor is located just minutes from Carbis Bay Hotel, which will host Boris Johnson and the leaders of the G7 nations at the G7 Summit in June 2021.

Boskerris Hotel comprises 15 individually styled en suite bedrooms, a one bedroom apartment and modern three bedroom cottage.

Located in a prominent position on the North Cornish Coast, the hotel has far reaching views across St Ives Bay and the North Atlantic Ocean beyond.

Amenities include a restaurant that can seat 26 guests, private dining area with 11 covers and bar, lounge and sun terrace which overlooks St Ives Bay with 21 covers inside and al-fresco seating for 19.

There is car parking for 18 cars and two Tesla charging points for exclusive use of guests.

Carbis Bay is a popular seaside resort town and beach on the North Cornish coastline, offering around a mile long Blue Flag beach.

Harriet Fuller, from the hotels team at Savills Exeter, commented, “Boskerris Hotel is located in one of the most picturesque locations in the UK and while the G7 Summit will bring an economic boost to Carbis Bay, there is a longer term trend of operational outperformance of coastal and holiday destination hotels driven by the increasing popularity of staycations.

'We wish the new proprietors, who have every intention of continuing the customer service excellence of the current operation including retaining the key staff, every success at Boskerris with what should be a great start to their ownership for the Summer season ahead.”
