Tim Hortons to open Wolverhampton drive-thru this summer

Iconic restaurant brand, Tim Hortons has today announced plans to bring its signature coffee, delicious donuts and famed Canadian charm to the Black Country for the first time, opening a drive-thru restaurant in the Wolverhampton suburb of Wednesfield, this summer.

Choosing Bentley Bridge Retail Park as the location for its newest restaurant, the brand will offer dine-in seating for up to 128 guests and its renowned drive-thru service for those on-the-go. Delivery options will also be made available to those in the local area following the launch.

The new restaurant will create over 40 jobs for the local community and will offer a combination of full-time and part-time roles, with impressive progression and training opportunities. The announcement also forms part of the brand’s plan to create over 2,000 jobs across the country, bringing Tim Hortons restaurants to every major town and city by 2022.

Set to open its doors this summer, customers can expect Canada’s favourite coffee, freshly baked donuts and Timbits around the clock, as well as delicious breakfast, lunch and evening meal options, including hot sandwiches and wraps.

Known for its impressive opening giveaways, locals and avid fans are encouraged to keep their eyes peeled and follow Tim Hortons on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for more news.

Kevin Hydes, Chief Commercial Officer of Tim Hortons franchise in the UK, commented,
“Having successfully opened our first restaurant in the West Midlands back in 2018, it brings me great pleasure to announce another opening within the region.

'We have always seen huge enthusiasm and support from our guests in Birmingham and know the wider community are keen for more. Wednesfield has excellent transport links to Wolverhampton, Walsall and Dudley, so we’re excited for locals to have the opportunity to fall in love with our brand.”

He continued, “Our staff make the Tim Hortons experience so special, and we pride ourselves on the unique progression and training opportunities available. We look forward to recruiting for a variety of exciting part-time and full-time roles and will be accepting applications from today via our website.'
