“Karan Ghosh, executive chef, Mama Shelter London Shoreditch”
Karan Ghosh has been named the executive chef at Mama Shelter London Shoreditch.
With over 15 years of experience in the industry, Ghosh has held notable positions such as executive chef at Skylight Bars, head chef at El Pastor in London's Soho, and head chef at Thomas's Café at Burberry in London's Regent's Park.
Earlier in his career, Ghosh gained valuable experience working at esteemed establishments such as Crown Aspinalls, the Metropolitan Hotel, and Rhubarb at the Royal Albert Hall.
He said: 'I'm overjoyed to be taking on this role at one of East London's most vibrant and dynamic destinations. The cheery atmosphere and collaborative ethos are infectious as soon as you step through the doors. I'm thrilled to be heading up the kitchen team and can't wait to hit the ground running.'

Mama Shelter London Shoreditch debuted in September 2019 following a rebrand of the RE Hotel London Shoreditch.
In 2014, AccorHotels acquired a 35% stake in the Parisian Mama Shelter business.
