Loungers has strengthened its senior leadership team with the addition of three new appointments, aimed at fostering the ongoing growth of the business.
Justin Carter, the current Managing Director of the Lounge brand, boasting nine years of tenure with the restaurant group, has been elevated to the position of Group Managing Director. In his expanded role, he will assume responsibility for all three brands: Lounge, Cosy Club, and Brightside, the roadside diner.
David Matthews, who has served as Regional Operations Manager for the past two years, achieves another milestone with his internal promotion to the position of Lounge Operations Director (North).
Meanwhile, Kate Eastwood, formerly the Operations Director for Fullers, assumes the role of Lounge Managing Director.
Nick Collins, chief executive of Loungers, said: 'I am delighted for both Justin and David and would like to wish a very warm welcome to Kate. We have got to know Kate well over the last few months are excited about the impact she will have leading the Lounge business.
'As the business continues to grow, it's critical we have the best organisational structure in place to protect and enhance both our culture and the hospitality we provide.'
The group's objective is to establish 'at least 600 Lounges' throughout the UK, with plans to open 34 new sites during the current financial year.
Loungers currently operates 35 Cosy Clubs, 218 Lounges, and three Brightsides, a concept launched in November 2022.
