Carden Park hotel in Cheshire announces plans for £6.5m refurbishment

Carden Park Hotel in Cheshire has unveiled plans for a £6.5 million investment to upgrade its 197 guest rooms.

Twenty rooms have already been refurbished, and 40% of the renovation is expected to be completed by spring 2025.

The rooms will feature blue and green color schemes, along with in-room amenities such as Nespresso coffee machines, Chromecast-enabled interactive TVs, Noble Isle toiletries, and air conditioning provided by Vital Heating Solutions.

In addition, the hotel will strengthen its environmental efforts by installing PV solar panels, air source heat pumps, and energy-efficient air conditioning systems.

This investment follows the hotel's recent unveiling of its newly renovated Carden Suite and Morgan’s Bar, a project that cost £500,000 to upgrade its conference space.

Hamish Ferguson, director and general manager at Carden Park hotel, said: “We are thrilled to embark on this exciting project to enhance our luxury accommodation, reinforcing our commitment to providing an exceptional and rejuvenating experience for our guests. Sustainability has been at the forefront of all previous renovations at the hotel, and we endeavour to continue this trajectory in all future transformation projects.”

In 2020, the hotel introduced its £10 million destination spa, the Spa at Carden, which went on to win Hotel Spa of the Year at this year's AA Hospitality Awards.
