Joe & the Juice continues UK expansion


Danish juice bar brand, Joe & the Juice has opened its 7th UK outlet in Manchester's intu Trafford Centre, with plans to open the next site in Newcastle.

The brand, which was launched in the UK in 2009, has previously announced plans to open between 10 and 15 outlets this year.

Joe & the Juice intends to further develop its retail partnership with John Lewis and Debenhams, and has recently opened its first site outside of London in John Lewis, Solihull.

The concept was founded by Kaspar Basse in Copenhagen in 2002 and was bought by the Swedish private equity firm Valedo Partners in 2013.

The group's aim is to have 250 stores worldwide in three years’ time, including a first US outlet and with 10-12 new stores annually in the UK.

The sites serve up freshly prepared fruit juices and smoothies in unique blends catered to taste, mood and nutritional requirements. Customers can select between mood boosting mixes and hangover cures.

Joe and the Juice also offers a selection of Danish style snacks and sandwiches to accompany the blended juice drinks.
