One of Heston Blumenthal's Bray sites, The Hinds Head is set for a major revamp with a new layout and new menus. It will be closed from 26 March and will reopen on 20 April.
The Maidenhead gastropubwill see the ground floor become a 'larger more cossetted dining area', with lots of leather banquettes added.
There will be a new lounge, with its own bar, upstairs, offering its own drinks list and bar snacks menu. There will also be a large glass-walled wine room.
The private area, The Vicar's Room is also getting a new look with 'teasing, tongue-in-cheek references to the building's association with Simon Aleyn, the infamous Vicar of Bray.'
