Pizza Pilgrims is to open two new London restaurants in the City and London Bridge this autumn, bringing the brand's estate to nine.
The company's largest outlet to date will open on Monday 1 October right next door to Tower 42 in the City, which will have seats for 135, and a downstairs bar. The bar will host an ‘Apé Hour’, a version of a Happy Hour, with deals on beers, spritzes and litres of prosecco, which will come with complimentary Italian-style aperitivo snacks, like Deep Fried Artichokes and Arancini.
There will also be a brand new menu featuring the Double Pepperoni pizza - two different types of UK produced pepperoni with spiced honey, and the Pesto Datterini pizza - sweet yellow Datterini tomatoes and buffalo stracciatella. There will also be the Bread Zeppelin (pictured), an inflated plate of garlic butter and bread.
For sweet treats, diners can get their favourite chocolate bar 'calzonified' - baked in dough. A brand new dessert will be served up - the Salted Caramel Tiramisu.
The London Bridge 104-cover restaurant will be opening in November, and will come with a 16-seater terrace.
