Paris-based restaurant group, The Big Mama is set to open the doors this Friday to its first UK site, Gloria in London's Shoreditch.
The group has seen success with its trattorias in Paris and are aiming for the same with Gloria. Occupying a large space, that includes a hidden 80s-set dining room, diners can expect an Italian menu.
Opening in the former home to Red's True Barbecue, dishes will include Cacio e Pepe in a parmesan cheese wheel, 10 level lasagne and Profiterole Napolitana - all with ingredients sourced direct from Italy.
Further dishes have been revealed, such as Amatriciana di seppia pasta - fresh calamari in umido, 5 hours San Marzano tomato sauce, candied guanciale, pecorino, calabrian chilli pepper, parsley, Regina Instagram pizza - mozza fior di latte, burrata, stracchino cheese, button mushrooms, herb crusted ham, fresh chives, and Lobster risotto to share - fresh lobster, San Marzano tomatoes, mussels, crayfish bisque.
