Papa John’s has launched its limited-edition Festive Menu including a Christmas Dinner Pizza, with the Crisis this Christmas charity set to benefit from every purchase of the Festive Meal Deal.
The pizza comes decorated with all the traditional trimmings, starting with a red wine gravy base. It's topped with tender turkey meatballs, roasted vegetables and sprouts, and finished off with a rich cranberry drizzle. There is also pigs in blankets on the side.
Papa John’s is also launching a Vegan Festive Pizza, removing the turkey meatballs and replacing the mozzarella cheese with delicious vegan ‘Sheese’, so everyone can be part of the action.
For a sweet treat, there are moreish Mince Pie scrolls, made from fresh dough, rolled with spiced mincemeat and topped off with a drizzle of icing.
The Festive Pizza comes packaged in a limited-edition pizza box.
As mentioned, Papa John’s has teamed up with Crisis this Christmas, the charity that aims to end homelessness in Great Britain, and will be donating 50p from every purchase of the Festive Meal Deal to the charity.
For those that fancy ordering something else but would still like to donate to Crisis, both the Papa John’s website and app enables customers to easily donate by rounding up their order to the nearest pound.
Papa John’s Marketing Director, Giles Codd, said, “We’re really proud to be working with Crisis this Christmas, a charity that aims to eradicate homelessness and provides vital services to people in the UK at one of the hardest times of the year.
“Our “Christmas is Better Shared” campaign highlights the fact that this should be a time for being with people and looking after each other, and what better way to do it than over a pizza with friends and loved ones.
'With several ways to donate to charity including the newly created festive merchandise store, we are hoping to smash our fundraising targets in order to help Crisis continue the fantastic work they do not just at Christmas, but throughout the whole year”
Jon Sparkes, chief executive of Crisis, said, “Our society is stronger when we work together, and by working with partners, such as Papa John’s, we are able to raise awareness of homelessness and vital funds so that we can deliver our services ranging from education to housing and employment support.”
