Coffe shop chain, WatchHouse has brought its renowned expertise to homes across the country with its fully customisable WatchHouse.YourHouse. subscription service.
Customers across the world can get WatchHouse coffee delivered straight to their door, choosing the frequency, size of bag, coffee style and grind type.
Subscribers have the choice between the 1829 house blend, so named for the date the first WatchHouse in Bermondsey was built, or the refined Roasters Spotlight. Used as the standard espresso across all six WatchHouse sites, 1829 is perfectly paired with milk, allowing you to make delicious lattes or cappuccinos at home.
The WatchHouse coffee team work with their suppliers to introduce a new 1829 espresso each season, taking advantage of peak picking times around the world. Customers can also choose the Roaster’s Spotlight, which includes a rotation of 5 or more carefully selected coffees, updated each season, to introduce customers to single-origin blends from small producers that will develop their understanding of coffee and appreciation for nuance in flavour profiles.
WatchHouse are known for their focus on the small details, as demonstrated by their Modern Coffee ethos, which is underpinned by the idea of creating a holistic experience for customers around product, design and community.
This is more important than ever whilst customers are unable to spend time in the cafés, and as such, the WatchHouse team ensure that no detail is overlooked; each bag of beans can be ground to the specific requirements for eight different types of brewing equipment, from chemex to french press to espresso machine and the team are happy to offer advice and experiment with these settings based on individual customer preferences.
Within the beautiful packaging, customers will receive an information card on the origin and tasting notes of the coffee to deepen the subscriber’s understanding of the chosen coffee, exclusive WatchHouse offers, and a compliments card to add a personal touch, neatly packaged inside a premium recycled envelope.
For those looking for a one-off gift for a loved one or expert brewing equipment for themselves, a carefully curated range can be found at the online shop, from the WatchHouse Kinto travel tumbler to an aeropress. In addition, a further range of coffee can be purchased from the shop, including seasonal specials, with a current highlight including Gitega Hills, and Villamaria - WatchHouse’s celebrated decaf.
Bags start from £10 for 250g with customers able to currently get their first two bags for £15, including free UK shipping. Those who place coffee orders over £100 will be invited to a free 1-1 online brewing tutorial with the specialist WatchHouse coffee team. Customers can choose 3, 6, 12 month packages, or a flexible monthly subscription package.
