Shake Shack is crossing south of the river, opening its 14th location in the UK in Clapham. The new Shack will have a favourable location on Clapham High Street, opposite Clapham Common, one of London’s largest, and oldest, public open spaces.
In preparation for the opening, Shake Shack is collaborating with south London-based artist Michael Parkin on a unique illustration for the building’s exterior. The artwork is Inspired by the vibrant bustling streets and the peaceful Common; Michael wanted to capture the sense of community and fun that Clapham exudes
Shake Shack serves elevated versions of American classics using only the best ingredients. It’s known for its delicious made-to-order Angus beef burgers, crispy chicken, hand-spun milkshakes, house-made lemonades, beer, wine, and more.
Fans will be able to get their hands on all the Shack classics, including the signature ShackBurger, Crinkle-Cut Fries, Flat-top Dogs, ShackMeister Ale and hand-spun shakes in addition to special menu items unique to Shake Shack Clapham.
Since the original Shack opened in 2004 in NYC’s Madison Square Park, the Company has expanded to over 430 locations systemwide, including over 260 in 32 US States and the District of Columbia, and over 140 international locations across London, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore, Mexico City, Istanbul, Dubai, Tokyo, Seoul and more.
