Mayfair's brasserie, Hush has launched Gin and Jam Afternoon Tea, a new concept set in a 30s ocean liner-inspired room.
To marry with the classic afternoon eats, Hush has created the Pink Rabbit cocktail using its own London distilled gin, lime, cranberry, vanilla, and strawberry jam.
The jams have been exclusively created for Hush by Wendy Brandon, a preserve maker with over 30 years experience. Each of the gin cocktails are paired with a jam, including the Violet Beauregarde, with gooseberry and elderflower.
Hush’s Gin and Jam Tea serves up finger sandwiches, warm scones with clotted cream and jam, and macaroons.
Beyond the gin cocktails, loose leaf artisan tea on offer comes care of the neighbouring supplier HR Higgins of Mayfair.
