Red Oak Taverns has acquired 146 tenanted neighbourhood pubs, for reportedly £36m, from Anglo Irish Bank.
The purchase is made up of medium-sized and small tenanted estates that went into administration around five years ago, 70% of which are free-of-tie.
The pubs are situated across the UK from Newcastle down to Penzance, with a concentration in the north west, north east with some in the south east although no sites in London.
