Upmarket kebab eatery to open in Soho

Le Bab is bringing a seasonal kebab menu to Kingly Court in London's Soho in January 2016.

Founded by Stephen Tozer and Ed Brunet - formerly at Le Gavroche, Le Bab will see the former sous chef also from La Gavroche Manuel Canales Garces heading up the kitchen, along with chef de partie Angus Bell.

The menu includes BBQ Paneer Kebab, a vegetarian option, with beetroot and coconut puree, crispy onions, rainbow chard stems and curry mayo, and Free Range Chicken Shawarma with turban squash hummus, chicken crackling, winter pickles, Le Bab toum and biber chilli.

There are also sharing kebabs like Rare Breed Pig’s Head and its crackling, with kohlrabi and carrot slaw, red onion and pomegranate molasses.

The wine list features rare and fine wines as well as craft beers from BrewDog. There are cocktails too like the Le Bab Old-Fashioned, containing a blend of Rye whiskey, carob syrup, and house aromatic bitters.
