Intu Watford signs up three more casual dining brands for £150m extension

Intu Watford has signed up Thaikhun, TGI Fridays and YO! Sushi to open at the shopping complex's major £150m extension.

Thaikhun has chosen a 4,025 sq ft unit, TGI Fridays has gone for a 7,375 sq ft site, and YO! Sushi has earmarked a 1,990 sq ft area. The three casual dining brands will join previously signed restaurants - Cabana, Las Iguanas and Byron.

Debenhams has also signed up to a new 113,000 sq ft anchor store at the new extension.

Work started on site late last year and, when completed, the extension will feature up to 16 shops, 10 restaurants and a nine-screen IMAX cinema.

The extension to the existing centre will make intu Watford a premium London satellite destination, with a total 1.4 million sq. ft. of space.
