Crown's catering firm, Kudos has won a new contract with Coventry University Enterprises Ltd (CUE).
The contract starts this month when Kudos takes over from the previous supplier at Coventry University’s award-winning Technology Park, a 20 acre site currently housing over 65 companies employing over 650 staff. The Technology Park encourages and supports the start up and development of innovation-led, high-growth, knowledge-based businesses and is located in the heart of Coventry city centre.
As well as managing conference and banqueting catering services at the Technology Park, Kudos will also manage and operate The Bistro staff restaurant facility, which will feature a diverse range of seasonal dishes to keep menus fresh and ever-evolving.
Jon Pryce, Kudos’ Managing Partner, said, “We are truly excited to have the opportunity to partner with one of Coventry’s most forward-thinking and innovative conference and banqueting venues; particularly as it is our first education related partnership.
'We’ve got lots planned over the coming months to reflect CUE’s innovation and bring our Kudos vision to the venue; including the use of local ingredients sourced within a 60 mile radius of Coventry, which we feel really celebrates Great British produce.
“We’ve also some new initiatives in mind; ranging from rooftop beehives giving us a healthier sweetener for teas and coffees, a campus herb garden, homemade seasonal preserves and fresh bread baked on-site and made daily for event delegates and Bistro customers. So there’s lots for people to look forward to.”
