Benugo to launch exclusive afternoon tea at V&A

Award-winning British food business, Benugo has partnered with the Victorian and Albert Museum, to create a Victorian Afternoon Tea.

The menu, developed with the help of Food Historian, Tasha Marks, will give guests a taste of the early 19th century, including Mrs Beeton’s cucumber sandwich (1859), lemon and caraway poppy cake (circa. 1895), and of course, the traditional Victoria sponge.

Launching on Sunday 13 November, the traditional Afternoon Tea will be served every Sunday in the V&A’s Morris room between 15.00 – 17.15. Priced at £30 per person with a selection of organic loose leaf teas, or £35 per person for those wishing to enjoy a glass of Prosecco.
