Privately-owned south London pub group, Livelyhood has strengthened its senior team as it looks towards future growth with the announcement of two new venues to open in the next six months.
Graham Blackwell has been appointed as Senior Operations Manager and Jessica Dahlin takes on the newly-created role of Head of Marketing.
Blackwell joins Livelyhood from the Bristol-based, national cafe bar group Loungers and Cosy Club where, as area manager, he spent six years being involved in new venue openings, covering everything from overseeing build and recruitment through to launch across a total of eight sites.
Dahlin moves to Livelyhood from London bar, restaurant and pub company ETM Group where she was head of marketing and events for ten years. As a key part of the senior leadership team, Jessica was in charge of driving revenue streams across 11 venues, through a series of innovative marketing strategies.
The two senior hires come as the group announces two new venues to open in the rst half of 2017. The Mere Scribbler in Streatham is set to open in April. Formerly the Bank pub, the 3,466 square foot venue will be located at the junction of Streatham High Road and Streatham Vale. A second 4,284 square foot site will open in the heart of Crystal Palace on Westow Hill in the area’s popular central triangle this summer.
Both new venues will embrace the Livelyhood ethos of bringing unique, independent and inviting pubs to south London neighbourhoods, focusing on social spaces for eating and drinking at the front, and entertainment areas with big screens for showing sport at the back, as well as outdoor space.
