Fairmont St Andrews to launch international Jazz Sunday Brunch

Fairmont St Andrews, one of Scotland’s finest five-star luxury resorts, will launch a summer International Jazz Sunday Brunch on Sunday 4 June.

Available every Sunday until 27 August, this Summer of Gastronomy will serve globally inspired dishes created by their team of international chefs using locally sourced ingredients.

This International Jazz Sunday Brunch will feature live cooking from the open kitchen as well as a lavish buffet presenting continental charcuterie, locally caught fish and shellfish, sushi and sashimi, prime Scottish roast cuts, a full range of international salads and an indulgent dessert and pastry selection.

The International Sunday Brunch will be served from 1pm to 4pm every Sunday for 13 weeks.

Guests will be entertained by the resident jazz band and dine in the newly renovated Squire Restaurant beneath the spectacular 60m long ceiling sculpture “Zephyr”

The introduction of the International Jazz Sunday Brunch coincides with, and compliments, the new seasonal menus at La Cucina and St Andrews Bar and Grill and celebrates the completion of the Atrium space where the new Savoy Afternoon Tea was recently launched.

John Keating, general manager, commented, “St Andrews and Scotland continues to grow as a culinary destination, the International Sunday Brunch is not only a celebration of local provenance but also acclaims the influence of our global team of chefs throughout the hotels’ restaurants. The brunch is a “Summer of Gastronomy” for friends and family to tantalise any taste bud.”

Ali Affleck, from Ali Affleck and The Copper Cats, said, “We will be offering guests a fresh interpretation of early jazz and blues. We regularly tour and always look forward to performing to new audiences and we cannot wait to share our love of jazz with the guests at Fairmont St Andrews.”
