HCA National Awards 2018 open for entry


The Hospital Caterers Association (HCA) is now welcoming entries for its national awards, taking place during the President Gala Awards dinner on Thursday 12th April 2018 at Celtic Manor, Newport.

The evening will form part of HCA’s Leadership and Development Forum, where this year the HCA will celebrate 70 years of existence.

The awards were established to recognise outstanding commitment and dedication in healthcare catering and patient service. They help to inspires and encourages professional excellence across catering services covered by HCA members.

Stewart McKenzie, Chair of the HCA, commented, “The HCA National Awards is an opportunity for our members to receive recognition for their hard work and commitment. It is important that we show appreciation for hospital caterers as we continue to strive for a healthier nation.”

This year, the HCA introduces two new awards, the first, National – Nutrition & Hydration 24/7 365 Poster Award and the second, Practical Display – Promoting culinary talent 2018 Award.

The awards are free to enter. The nominee must be a full member of the Hospital Caterers Association. Closing date for entries is Friday 9 February 2018.
