Brasserie Blanc opens at Manchester Airport Marriott Hotel

French restaurant group, Brasserie Bar Co has opened the doors to Brasserie Blanc’s newest destination restaurant and terrace, within the newly refurbished Manchester Airport Marriott Hotel.

Open seven days a week serving a full buffet breakfast through to dinner, just a stone’s throw from the airport terminal, Brasserie Blanc welcomes early morning espresso seekers, business lunchers and evening drinkers.

The contemporary bar and dining room is dominated by a huge glass and wrought iron atrium roof that floods the venue with natural light. Shelves bursting with greenery surround the light and airy space and hanging foliage creates a living roof space that transports diners to a Kew Gardens greenhouse..

The comfort of the indoors is taken outside onto the showstopper terrace that captures the feeling of the French Riviera with built-in banquette seating, French wrought iron garden furniture, shade for the summer, heaters for the winter and handy USB ports and sockets.

The brasserie serves home-cooked French food with a contemporary international flavour all inspired by Raymond Blanc’s travels. A la carte breakfast choices are available from 6.30am and include classic eggs Benedict, Florentine or Royale, fresh orange juice, coffees and Champagne or Buck’s Fizz.

Lunch and dinner offer light contemporary options such as fresh vegetable summer rolls stuffed with avocado, carrots, mint, cucumber, coriander pesto and a soy dipping sauce; Mediterranean fish soup or moules marinieres. More traditional, hearty dishes include the BB cheese soufflé; escargots with garlic herb butter, classic boeuf bourguignon or steak frites. Desserts feature an indulgent chocolate mousse cup, and zesty lemon tart.

Henri Le Worm’s children’s menu offers delicious dishes that don’t compromise on quality or taste for £6.95 for a main, side and dessert. Sunday lunch, served all day, offers a range of roasts from sirloin of beef to a rack of free range cherry orchard pork.

The bar will be open all day every day and is where guests can enjoy a crisp, chilled glass of wine whilst grazing on a charcuterie board. Whilst global wines are featured, exceptional French bins take centre stage on a list that features Brasserie Blanc’s own Blanc de Blancs sparkling.

The cocktail list shows French flair and features concoctions bursting with seasonal flavours – must-try summer sips include a Cointreau Fizz with Fever-Tree lemon tonic, an Elderflower Collins and the Paloma with Ocho Reposado tequila, pink grapefruit juice, agave syrup and soda. A selection of draft and bottled beers, ciders and mocktails complete the offer.
