Seasoned reports 20% rise in London weddings

Leading London event caterer, Seasoned has seen a 20% growth in weddings across the capital compared to the previous year, due to a culmination of factors coming together, resulting in an exciting year for the team.

Seasoned works in partnership with their in-house wedding planning service, The Perfect Wedding Company, which specialises in delivering a complete package. The Perfect Wedding Company works closely with couples to realise what would make their occasion extra special on the day.

All the ground work from selecting the right venue, the catering solution, entertainment, equipment, furnishings and décor are all understood from the beginning. This personalised approach has led to many recommendation-driven bookings this year, which is not a surprise as it makes things easy for couples in what potentially can be a very stressful time.

Sales Manager at The Perfect Wedding Company, Katya Nunziati, said, “Couples want more than merely a booking service. Every couple is unique and every single detail counts. On top of this, we have to recognise and respect that it’s a wider family affair where sometimes different cultures and traditions are coming together too.

'It sounds complicated but it’s all about making things go smoothly by applying a thoughtful approach from the beginning. This is why we spend time with our clients before we start to pull all the elements together, to ensure everything is in line and in sync on the day.”

Additionally, over the past two years Seasoned has grown its selection of venues to give couples a wider choice in finding the right venue in terms of style, size and location. Venues include Wrest Park, V&A Museum, Roundhouse, Guildhall, Syon Park, Harrow School and Gunnersbury Park to name a few.

Gunnersbury Park House was one of their new listings this year and following a successful £21m restoration project, Seasoned had the opportunity to host the first wedding at the venue after its reopening in June.

Colin Sayers, Managing Director at Seasoned, commented, “It’s been a popular year for weddings and I believe it’s because we provide a three-pronged approach, with bespoke catering, a wide selection of venues and a comprehensive wedding planning service.

'We want to take the stress off every couple’s shoulders but we want them to be involved too as it’s a once in a lifetime moment for them and we hope it can remain one of the most memorable moments in their lives. The focus on service has gone into every detail from beginning to end, that’s what people appreciate and that’s what makes the difference.”
