Revolution to open Durham venue this month

Revolution Bars Group is expanding its presence in the North East with a brand new site in Durham on Silver Street, Framwellgate Bridge.

The expansion marks a vast £1m investment for the group, transforming the former Bishop Langley pub, along the banks of the River Wear.

Revolution Durham will boast features suited for all-day dining including signature dishes for grazers, sharers, and show-stoppers such as ‘The Big Rib’ and their famous ’Smoke King’ burger.

The company will be hosting a launch party on Friday 23 November, where customers will be able to sign-up to grab a limited number of tickets online.

Revolution bars general manager, Nigel Wood, said, “We are all very excited to bring a long-awaited Revolution bar to Durham city centre. The team have been working and training very hard to bring something special to the bar scene in this fine city.

“Whether you’re brunching, lunching or dining with friends, the venue overlooks the river, with fantastic views of the castle and cathedral – perfect for those wanting to take a break from their shopping and indulge in alfresco dining. We’re very much looking forward to matching these views with an amazing customer experience.”

The new Durham site adds to firm's other sites in the North East, which are in Newcastle and Sunderland.
