Robinsons launches mix-tape of music-themed seasonal beers for 2019

Robinsons, the 180-year-old brewery, situated in the heart of Stockport, has revealed a tasty playlist of music-themed seasonal ales all for 2019; each inspired by iconic tracks.

Gill Yates, Brands Manager for Robinsons Brewery, explained, “We trialled the ‘big screen theme’ in 2016, and it was such a success we decided to continue the movie-theme throughout 2017 and 2018. Altogether over the 3 years, we have sold 1,686,888 pints of our seasonal beers, representing great popularity amongst our drinkers.

'However, we don’t like to stand still at Robinsons, so for 2019 we decided to look at the music route instead. We already know that music and beer go hand-in-hand and we always like to release brews which our customers can really enjoy and relate to. Our music themed ales are inspired by well-known classics, so we’re excited for our drinkers to have a taste and have a trip down memory lane.”

Robinsons’ 2019 seasonal range kicks off with Brew Monday; a new order for February and March. This 4.1% abv crisp, dark amber ale projects a fruity aroma and a malty, salty taste – give it a try and tell us now, how does it feel?

To welcome the duskier months of October and November, Robinsons will be introducing a rockin’ red ale: Rock The Cask Bar. Bursting with blackcurrant and toffee flavours, this full-blooded malty delight is certainly an ale with heart and soul. With a well-balanced combination of taste and body, weighing in at a quaffable 3.9% abv, there’s no clash in this cask.

Welcoming in the festive season (or not) is a beer that won’t make you say Bah Humbug.
