Pret is surprising customers with a ‘Friday Freeze’, and giving out free iced coffee and Cold Brew for one hour this Friday.
Pret A Manger is known for its ‘random acts of kindness’, and so, to help customers keep cool this Friday, shops around the country will be giving away iced coffees.
The offer will be available for one hour, between 10am and 11am on Friday 19 July in hundreds of shops nationwide. Pret’s expert baristas will hand out free drinks, including Iced Americanos and Iced Lattes, all made with organic coffee. Alternative milk options will also be available, so that customers can enjoy their coffee exactly how they’d like it. At selected shops, customers will also have the chance to try the new Cold Brew for free, brewed for over 14 hours with single origin beans from Peru.
To claim their freebie, customers should head to their nearest Pret and quote the password to a team member behind the counter. The password will be revealed on Pret’s social channels tomorrow - Thursday, 18 July.
Briony Raven, Head of Coffee and Packaging at Pret, said, “Given we are set to see some sunshine this week, we wanted to ease our customers into the weekend with an iced coffee on us.
'Our organic espresso is just as great served cold, over ice, as it is hot, while our new Cold Brew is delicious, full-bodied and velvety smooth. It combines a milk chocolate sweetness, with a mellow citrus acidity and a clean, refreshing finish, making it perfect for the summer months.”
