New Fuller’s opening in E16 today

Premium pub company, Fuller, Smith and Turner PLC, has today announced the opening of its newest managed site, The Windjammer in Royal Dock, Greater London, E16. The pub will open its doors to the public today [Thursday 12 March].

Set to harbour a community atmosphere, The Windjammer will focus on fresh, seasonal food and exceptional service. With a split level interior, featuring a large downstairs bar and dining area set below a similarly versatile mezzanine floor, the pub boasts breath-taking views of the river and Thames Barrier. Nautical touches and plants are dotted throughout the interior, which give the spacious pub a suitable maritime and botanical feel. This is continued outside into the decked seating area, providing the perfect spot for a riverside meal and a drink or two.

The team at The Windjammer are excited to host weekly events within the local community. This will include a quiz night and, on weekends, The Kids’ Table – a supervised children's arts and crafts service designed to keep little ones amused while adults sit back and enjoy their Sunday roast.

General Manager, Hannah Joseph, has managed several Fuller’s City pubs previously and, as an East London local, looks forward to welcoming customers when the doors officially open.

She said: “We’re all really excited to open. Fuller’s, being a family run business, loves the idea of joining such a fantastic community”.
