Accor launches promo to encourage & reassure group travel operators

Accor, the leading augmented hospitality group, has just announced its B2B group offering, ‘Re-Group with the Love of Leisure’. The promotion aims to give group organisers the confidence and assurance that booking a group visit to one of Accor’s European hotels comes with extra peace of mind and added value.

The ‘Re-Group with the Love of Leisure’ promotion will offer group tour organisers additional value such as group cancellation, with no charge if the trip is cancelled up to 14 days prior to arrival.

One in 15 group members will have a free place, with the driver also having a free stay. There will also be no surcharge for up to five single rooms on a group booking, based on a minimum of 15 rooms.

Additional ways in which Accor is going above and beyond for group visitors include providing a complimentary welcome drink for the group on arrival and a set three course dinner for £15 at Accor’s economy hotels, such as ibis and ibis styles brands, and £20 at Accor’s midscale hotels such as Novotel and Mercure.

Dana Lewis, Director of M&E & Leisure, Northern Europe, commented, “With more than 560 participating hotels already (and more to follow), we are extremely excited to launch our new Re-Group with the Love of Leisure offering.

'Group travel is so important for the travel industry and we want to ensure that our partners and group organisers feel confident that our hotels are both safe and secure for group bookings in today’s challenging environment.

“The added enhancements such as group cancellation, free places and complimentary drinks are a way for us to show our appreciation and support for our group organisers and group travellers.”

Group organisers and travellers can rest assured that all Accor hotels are enforcing rigorous health and safety measures as part of ALLSAFE, Accor’s global cleanliness and prevention programme to to safeguard the health and wellbeing of guests.
