Suffolk-based brewer, Greene King and its sister brewery, Belhaven in Scotland have scooped five awards between them in this year’s 2020 International Beer Challenge.
The latest awards follow a long list of previous achievements and continues to underline the quality and craftmanship both breweries pride themselves on.
Ice Breaker Pale Ale, created by its own apprentice brewers, has picked up a Silver medal in the Ale category, whilst Old Speckled Hen Low Alcohol has received a Bronze medal in the No or Low Alcohol category.
Three of Belhaven’s beers also impressed, with Scottish Ale picking up a Bronze medal in the Ale award section, whilst Belhaven Black and Scottish Oat Stout also scooped Bronze medals in the Stout and Porters category.
