IHG to open two Scottish city Voco hotels in early 2021


IHG Hotels & Resorts is to open two new UK sites, launching the Voco brand in Scotland early in the new year.

Voco Grand Central, Glasgow (pictured) adjoins the city’s historic train Central Station and is one of the most prestigious buildings in Glasgow. Built in 1883, the hotel will ooze Victorian glamour, notable details and voco’s modern charm.

It will feature a magnificent, marble-clad Champagne Central bar, which will be open all day for sharing menus and afternoon tea served with glasses of fizz or artisan cocktails, while Tempus Restaurant will serve the best of Scottish cuisine. The Grand Ballroom is a charming spot for memorable celebrations, and 10 flexible meeting rooms take care of business events.

Voco Edinburgh – Haymarket will bring the brand’s signature guest experience to the popular capital city of Scotland. This hotel will offer a restaurant, f 24-hour business centre, fitness centre, and bedrooms with plush bedding and luxe amenities.
