Coya & Veuve Clicquot to open outdoor dining oasis at EC2 site

London restaurant chain, Coya's Angel Court outlet is set to launch The Courtyard in partnership with Veuve Clicquot, a Peruvian oasis in the heart of the city, open to guests for outdoor dining from Monday 12 April.

Guests can escape to the calm oasis of the heated courtyard every Monday to Friday from 12:30pm until 10pm, and sip on Veuve Clicquot champagne and Coya’s signature Veuve Clicquot cocktail, the Pisco Royale, alongside Coya’s all day menu and à la carte offering for lunch and dinner.

The tucked away space will be a hidden gem in the City, brightly decorated in true South American style where Peruvian lilies, symbolising friendship, will adorn The Courtyard, providing a magnificent, Instagrammable backdrop for reunions between friends. Guests will forget they are in the City, whilst feasting on signature aperitivos, fresh Peruvian sashimi, ceviche and tiraditos, main courses, desserts and signature cocktails.

The Courtyard à la carte menu will be available throughout the day and include aperitivos, tacos, ensaladas, main courses to share, ceviches & tiraditos, sandwiches and skewers from the charcoal grill. Brand new dishes have been added to the menu, including crispy pork belly burger with sweet potato, red onion and coriander and the crispy chicken sandwich with ají panca coleslaw and spicy mayo.

Those who opt for the set lunch menu can expect a choice of three light but fulfilling small bites, such as Croquetas de Lubina - Chilean sea bass croquettes with red chilli; Ceviche de Atún Chifa - Albacore tuna with sesame seeds, rick crackers and soy; and Calamares con Ocopa - baby squid with Peruvian marigold and quinoa, followed by a choice of one main including Bife Angosto - sirloin, adobo with chimichurri sauce; and Costilla de Cerdo - pork back ribs with tamarind glaze and cashew nuts.

As an added welcome, guests dining at lunchtime will all receive a complimentary glass of Veuve Clicquot with the set lunch menu.

Guests can choose from classic Peruvian cocktails and Coya global signatures such as the Pisco Royale with Pisco Sol de Plata Quebranta, lime juice, homemade sugar syrup with egg white topped up with Veuve Clicquot Champagne and Aji Margarita with Jalapeños and aji panca infused with El Jimador tequila, homemade apple and avocado puree, agave syrup and fresh lime juice.
