Doyle Collection welcomes new GM & Assistant GM at The Bloomsbury

The Doyle Collection has announced the appointment of two new senior management team members at The Bloomsbury hotel in London WC1. Susanne Traudt Romero joins as General Manager and Marta Padron Assistant General Manager.

Traudt Romero (pictured) joins the 153-bed hotel having spent 17 years working in 5-star luxury hotels throughout Europe. She joins from D&D London's South Place hotel in the City.

Hailing from Munich, Traudt Romero has previously been with The Connaught, where she worked closely with Thomas Kochs in launching the original iteration of Michelin-starred chef Hélène Darroze’s signature restaurant.

Following this, Traudt Romero was appointed as Operations Manager at Royal Exchange Grand Café and Bar.

Originally from Madrid, Padron spent a decade working in various 5-star hotels in Mexico, Spain and throughout the UK.

She launched her career at the 5-star Occidental Grand Xcaret on Riviera Maya, Mexico and quickly progressed through the ranks, moving to Spain to take up the role of Assistant Operations Manager at Barcelo Isla Cristina in Huelva.

Doyle Collection CEO, Pat King commented, 'We are delighted to welcome Susanne to the Doyle Collection team. Her experience working in top boutique and luxury hotels and restaurants across London make her an invaluable addition to the team at the Bloomsbury.

'Equally, I am so delighted to welcome Marta to London. Marta has an intimate understanding of our culture, our genuine commitment to exemplary hospitality and the importance we place on genuine, warm and personalised service, which sets us apart.'
