CRERAR HOTELS’ COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR WINS INSPIRATIONAL LEADER AWARD


Crerar Hotels’ Commercial Director Jodie Wilson has been awarded the title of Revenue Manager of the Year at The Hospitality Professionals Association (HOSPA) HOSPACE 2023 Inspirational Leader Awards.

Jodie, who started with the Scottish hotel brand in 2020 with more than 17 years of experience within the industry, attended the HOSPACE 2023 conference in London on Thursday 16 November with Crerar Hotels’ CEO Chris Wayne-Wills.

One of only five winners on the evening, Jodie took home the prestigious Inspirational Leader – Revenue Manager of the Year award thanks to her work transforming Crerar Hotels’ revenue system despite starting with the organisation during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Since joining Crerar Hotels three years ago, Jodie has been promoted from Group Revenue Manager to Commercial Director. Jodie also has a wealth of experience in the hospitality and leisure industries with previous roles at Marriott Hotels, Specialist Leisure Group and Titanic Hotel.

The annual Inspirational Leader Awards, which take place after the HOSPACE conference, look to highlight inspirational leaders from all corners of the hospitality industry in the UK from technology to revenue management.

Chris Wayne-Wills, CEO of Crerar Hotels, said: “It was excellent to see Jodie deservedly take home the ‘Revenue Manager of the Year’ award on Thursday. She has been instrumental in the group’s revenue management whilst making a significant contribution to the commercial achievements of the company.

“She continues to lead the commercial team, drive revenue and always exceeds expectations it’s an honour to have Jodie as part of the management team.”

Jodie adds: “The HOSPACE conference was a brilliant experience and to end the day with an award was unbelievable. I was in great company as the shortlist for the award was outstanding, so I feel very honoured to have won the recognition.
