Everards, the Leicestershire pub and brewery company is set to open its second Project Artisan site this Saturday in Birmingham’s Jewellry Quarter.
The Church Inn, as it is known has benefited from a £400,000 investment, and welcomes new tenants the Soul Food Project. Formed in 2010 by Matthew Beck and Carl Finn, the company is based on the pop-up restaurant revolution and has been cooking food “with care and passion” at live events across the Midlands.
Project Artisan, an evolution of Everards’ Project William venture with microbrewers, looks to install local food and drink businesses – such as bakers, chocolatiers and butchers – in Everards pubs or property. The other Project Artisan site is also located in Birmingham and opened last year.
