Gordon Ramsay to open new site at Battersea Square

Gordon Ramsay has taken over the former Bennett Brasserie and Oyster Bar site in Battersea Square, London and is now set to re-open it as ‘London House’.

No detailed plans for the site have been released yet apart from the name of the head chef who is to be Anna Kelly.

It is understood Ramsay signed the deal just recently and now has possession of the keys. He is expected to release further details about the new venture in the coming weeks.

The celebrity chef's 25-strong restaurant group is currently focussed on opening Gordon Ramsay's Union Street Café, backed by footballer David Beckham.

The Russell Sage-designed eaterie in a converted warehouse in London's Borough market will open in September 2013.
