Camden Town Brewery to sell 20% slice of business for £10m

Camden Town Brewery is to sell 20% of the business to an unnamed Belgian manufacturing family for £10m.

The family's investment in the London microbrewery values the business at £50m, which is £2m less than the figure stated in the Crowdcube campaign.

The ongoing Crowdcube fundraising has so far raised £2.2m for expansion from over 2,000 investors.

Camden Town Brewery founder, Jasper Cuppaidge started brewing in 2006 in the basement of the pub he owned, the Horseshoe in Hampstead.
