First cashless pizzeria in Glasgow to open next week

Glasgow's first cashless pizzeria, Rockvilla is set to open next Tuesday 23 July, on the city's Possil Road in the Tower building.

Rockvilla, which is named after the area's historical name, will be serving up 24-hour proofed hybrid sourdough pizza.

Prices start from £4.50 as the fast food venue saves on cash handling and tills, and can therefore hand the savings onto the customer.

The new fast food venture is headed up by Manager Jim McLaughlin, who is also behind Vespbar/Yesbar in the city's Drury Street.
