Providing Searcys’ sustainably-sourced coffees and teas, sandwiches, cakes and bakes, the Saatchi Gallery Cafe´ is open for the duration of the Tutankhamun: Treasures of the Golden Pharaoh exhibition, which is produced by IMG and the Ministry of Antiquities.
Located on the lower ground floor, Saatchi Gallery Cafe has opened offering a seasonal menu which celebrates seasonal and sustainable produce.
Menu highlights include classic English favourites, such as Roast ham and mature cheddar on sourdough; and a Salmon with dill cream sandwich, along with more Middle Eastern flavours with dishes such as a Feta, spinach and za’atar sourdough pocket. With a focus on quality and sustainable coffee, the cafee serves Searcys organic coffee blends, sourced from cooperatives of small holders in Peru and Columbia, and roasted by Bristol-based, Extract Coffee Roasters.
In residence at Saatchi Gallery until Sunday 3 May 2020, the new cafee launch coincides with the exhibition commemorating the 100th anniversary of the discovery of Tutankhamun's tomb.
