Over Saturday and Sunday (4 & 5 July), 5,046 guests dined in the ten Rick Stein Group restaurants, including The Seafood Restaurant, Padstow and Rick Stein, Barnes.
The group has also reported an impressive 717 retail transactions from four outlets including Stein’s Gift Shop, Deli, Fishmongers and Patisserie.
Chef Director, Jack Stein said, “It was such a buzz being back in the kitchen this weekend. We’re really happy with how it went, our customers all respected social distancing and were clearly as happy to be back as we were.
'Safety was our number one priority and our new measures, from one way systems and table spacing to adding new fully sterilised and sealed cutlery pouches to every table, proved to be a great success.'
Charlie Stein, Wine & Spirit Advisor, added, “Bookings are looking good for the remainder of the summer season, however we’re not naive enough to think the next few months will be plain sailing.
