Kings Cross hotel launches pop-up eatery with radio station tomorrow

A new kind of eatery is popping up tomorrow, Tuesday 4 August, at The Megaro hotel, Kings Cross.

Launching to the vibrant Balearic and Acid-House tunes of its very own radio station KXFM, The Megaro Eatery team has brought back the Summer Of Love party vibes from the 80’s mixed with the bold, sunny flavours of the Italian riviera.

Pop Sapori with its fast, loud and joyful spirit, extends a warm loving embrace to all Londoners of every age, as a counterpoint to the downbeat times of social distancing and travel restrictions.

Your eyes might pop through the window into which the team have set up a fresh pasta studio, an espresso bar and a Prosecco Spritz lab; all wrapped in acid yellow, textured concrete and copper piping for a true shock to the senses.

Guests at Pop Sapori (Italian for flavour) can enjoy dancing, pasta dishes and drinks. The kitchen team takes its food very seriously with quality, homemade seasonal products and its own in-house bakery to boot. Vegan, Vegetarian, and Gluten-free options are available.

The escapist vibe is extended further with a weekend brunch, so that the week can become one long break from the gloom. Expect prosecco on tap, carafes of juicy Italian wine and Aperol Spritz in several sizes. Italian Pancetta Rolls, Full Italian Breakfast and Pancakes with Maple Syrup and Berries add to the weekend offering.

One can also have a House party Pop Sapori-style by taking home some of the fresh pasta, sauces, smiley mugs and tuning-in to KXFM for online 24/7 house music channel. It’s all keenly priced with the delicious Fresh Egg Rigatoni, Squid Ink Spaghetti and more to devour at home.

With fresh Italian ingredients, high energy music, urban design and bespoke art pieces by the British artist and designer Henry Chebaane, Pop Sapori is set to start a new pulse beating within Kings Cross.
