Grade II-listed hotel in Plymouth on market for £2.25m

The sale of Invicta Hotel in Plymouth for £2.25m has been launched by Savills, on behalf of a private client.

The Invicta Hotel is a Grade II-listed, 4-star boutique hotel featuring 23 en suite bedrooms, Bowline Restaurant, bar and lounge. On the lower ground floor is a self-contained function room with separate external access, its own bar and cloakrooms.

The space has capacity for functions of around 65 guests and can be operated with no impact on the operation of the hotel due to its facilities. Externally, to the front of the hotel is a terrace, providing al fresco dining.

The hotel has benefited from significant recent investment to the first floor bedrooms, restaurant and function room. It is situated in a prominent position overlooking Plymouth Hoe Park and close proximity to the Sea Front, Barbican, Plymouth Pavilions and the City Centre.

Harriet Fuller, Associate in the Hotel Capital Market team at Savills Exeter, said, “With the current owners looking to retire, this is an exciting opportunity for an incoming buyer to acquire beautifully presented hotel in a fantastic location, just a few minutes’ walk from the sea front and Plymouth’s key tourist attractions.

'Combine this with further opportunity to add value, we expect there to be a lot of interest in the Invicta Hotel.”
