Leonardo Hotel Manchester Piccadilly opens its doors

Leonardo Hotels, one of the leading and fastest-growing hotel chains in Europe, has launched its first hotel in Manchester, the striking Leonardo Hotel Manchester Piccadilly.

The hotel is affectionately known as the ‘Jenga’ building due to its striking exterior tower blocks. Its distinctive design has seen Leonardo Hotel Manchester Piccadilly winning a design award from the Manchester Society of Architects before it had even opened its doors.

With 275 stylish en-suite bedrooms, appointed with Leonardo Hotels’ signature DREAM bed, designed for a peaceful night’s sleep, TVs, and spacious, well-lit desks, guests can rest easy in the heart of the city.

Leonardo Hotel Manchester Piccadilly offers dining at its on-site bar and restaurant, Leo’s. Leo’s serves sumptuous food and drinks throughout the day for dine-in, takeaway and room service including a hot buffet breakfast to start the day.

The wellbeing of guests is a priority for the hotel team, so a new wellness suite offers a space for yoga and meditation. A sanctuary from the busy urban setting, guests can partake in a personalised guided meditation session through the room’s smart TVs. The suite also allows us to step away from the pressures of modern life, with digital detox jars that lock away smart devices for complete relaxation.

“We are absolutely delighted to have opened our first Leonardo Hotel in Manchester,” said Jason Carruthers, Managing Director for Jurys Inn and Leonardo Hotels UK. The unique design of the hotel has seen a lot of interest in it before its doors even opened which is wonderful, and we’re excited to now welcome people inside and continue the conversation.”

The hotel is perfectly located in the new Piccadilly East neighbourhood, near Ancoats and the Northern Quarter and close to the city centre with excellent transport links. Piccadilly Station is just 0.5 miles from the hotel, meanwhile Manchester Airport is under 30 minutes away, making the city accessible from Liverpool and London.
