For a truly special dinner, there are also two special Valentine's dinner boxes to choose from in the Stein's at Home range. Both boxes have ample food for three courses, serving two people with options include either the Valentine's Lobster Menu, or Valentine's Steak Menu.

Both boxes include a half bottle of Rick Stein Champagne, Chocolate hearts to share and a Jill Stein Padstow candle, scented with sea salt and samphire. For seafood lovers, the lobster box is a real treat.

Begin with Grilled scallops in the shell, served with hazelnut and coriander butter,then the main event:Lobster thermidor, new potatoes and mixed salad leaves.This is tied off with a rich Chocolate pave, chocolate sauce and crystallised peanuts.Whereas for meat eaters, the steak box is a winner, with Smoked mackerel pate, sourdough bread and mixed leavesto start, followed by Philip Warren ribeye steaks, peppercorn sauce, new potatoes and kale, ending with Sticky toffee pudding and Trewithen Dairy clotted cream.

With romantic trips to Spain out of the question for the foreseeable future, Arros QD’s Valentine's Cook at Home offering is the perfect alternative to bring Spain straight to your home for a romantic evening in, featuring some dishes from founder three Michelin-starred Quique Dacosta.
