Thai restaurant group, Giggling Squid is to open its first restaurant inside the M25 in Esher, Surrey. The 120-cover Esher site will open its doors following a £100k refit and will create 20 new jobs.
The company also announced that it would close its Crawley site, which was the third restaurant in the estate when it opened in August 2010.
The Crawley closure will bring the total portfolio to 11 sites but then the number will swell with the openings later this year of outlets in Guildford, Billericay, Bury St Edmunds and Bath. The Esher site launch will bring the total to 16 sites, with a further three planned.
