Hand Picked Hotels puts two sites up for sale

Hand Picked Hotels has put two venues on the market, Priest House hotel in Castle Donnington (pictured) priced at £3.25m, and Seiont Manor in Snowdonia for £2m.

The two hotels are the smaller of the sites in Hand Picked's portfolio of 21 and the group's strategy is to now focus on acquiring larger properties.

The four-AA-star Priest House hotel has a two-AA-rosette restaurant and is a converted Norman mill tower and 17th-century cottage. The site sits in a 54-acre estate on the banks of the River Trent. Planning permission has been granted for an additional 41 bedrooms, a function suite and leisure pool.

Seiont Manor also features a two-AA-rosette restaurant, as well as an indoor swimming pool, and sits within 22 acres of gardens. A disused grade II-listed manor house sits next to the hotel which has planning consent for seven additional bedrooms and five meeting rooms.
