Servest Catering wins £600k Madame Tussauds contract

Servest Catering has joined the A-list line-up at Madame Tussauds London – by winning a three-year contract worth £200k a year with the world famous tourist attraction.

The Servest team provides breakfast, lunch, afternoon snacks and hospitality services for Madame Tussauds London’s staff. Many of the staff are young, aspiring actors and therefore expect a catering offering that matches the high street in terms of quality, variety and price.

Madame Tussauds London approached Servest in June after giving notice to the incumbent caterer. Within two weeks Servest started delivering a brand new, full catering service. The fresh, new offering includes various themed events and special offers to entice staff into the cafe. Feedback from staff surveys has been excellent.

Peter Gallagher, Facilities Manager at Madame Tussauds London, said, “We asked Servest to mobilise a full service for us within two weeks, which I thought would be a major challenge for any provider. True to their word, the team had a sandwich and snack service running within 36 hours and a full hot breakfast and lunch service within one week.

“I have been massively impressed with all the Servest team. Nothing is too much for them and the team at Madame Tussauds London has been pleasantly surprised at the improvements made already. I would thoroughly recommend Servest to any organisation.”

Rob Legge, Group Chief Executive Officer UK and Europe at Servest, said, “We’re delighted to be working with Madame Tussauds London and look forward to continuing to deliver excellent food and high standards of service and innovation.”
