Brewhouse & Kitchen sees Q1 sales boosted by own-brewed beer

Brewhouse & Kitchen has announced results for the first quarter to December, with own-brewed sales and fresh food performing well, with the first accounting for approximately 50% of sales.

The pub company brews a range of core and seasonal beers on site in its own micro-brewery.

For the period, the company saw like-for-like sales up 17% in uninvested estate and 79% in estates which did receive investments.

The company currently operates eleven pub restaurants from London's Islington down to Portsmouth
