Servest forms joint venture with Atalian


Two leading international facilities management companies, Servest and Atalian have announced they have formed a joint venture to enable them to provide integrated FM solutions on a Pan European basis.

The 50/50 owned joint venture, which will operate under the name 'Atalian Servest Ltd', will look to capitalise on both organisations strong operational reputations in their respective markets and expand their current offer to existing and new customers across country boundaries.

Rob Legge, Servest Group CEO UK and Europe, said, 'The world is becoming a smaller place and we have seen that businesses are now looking for unified solutions that bring their communities together. We wanted to offer our customers a pan-European solution with a partner that operates with the same cultural and business philosophies as adopted by Servest in the UK.

Both organisations have very like-minded business approaches based on an entrepreneurial strategy where organic and acquisitive growth are of equal importance,' said Matthieu de Baynast, CEO of International at Atalian. ?

Servest and Atalian will continue to operate in their respective regions and the joint venture will be utilised for opportunities where both companies have an operational presence. Together the facilities management businesses have a combined reach of 140,000 colleagues, across 27 countries in Europe, North America, South-East Asia and Africa.
